Kerala State Differently abled Persons Welfare Corporation Ltd (KSDAPWC) is a public sector undertaking under Government of Kerala , registered as per Companies Registration Act 1956 (No 1 of 1956) and was established in 1979. The aims and objectives of the company are to formulate, to promote and implement any schemes for the rehabilitation and improvement of the living conditions of the Persons with Disabilities under 21 categories. KSDAPWC instituted its head office at Poojappura since 1979, established its Regional Office in Erankulam since 2005 and Kozhikode since 2012, recently in 2025 established District Office at Kasaragod in 2025. Over the years the Corporation has provided various assistance to the persons with disabilities in Kerala.
With a view to provide standardized and quality Aids & Appliances to the persons who are physically challenged a manufacturing unit called MRST unit was established (Manufacturing, Repairing, Servicing and Training Centre) was established in 2000 and it was upgraded and renovated with innovative machineries in 2021 and is functioning at Kottamam, Thiruvananthapuram. So as to promote and sell the products manufactured by Persons with Disabilities and to avail the supplies to MLAs and other dignitary, KSHPWC established an Extension Counter at MLA Quarters.
