Through this scheme, scooter with attached side wheels are distributed to the Persons with locomotor disabilities to enhance their freedom to move and to achieve self reliance
Beneficiaries: – Persons with Disabilities affected by Locomotor disabilities with 40% -100% and the persons who are employed in government sectors are not eligible to apply.
Qualifying Criteria:-
- Applicants who are with 100% of disability and above the age of 65 shall be subjected to the second opinion of a specialized doctor
- Licence is mandatory for riding two wheel
- SC/ST and Women shall be given priority
